The trio of Frank Wilkins on piano & keyboards, Eric Preusser on drums and Skip Smith on bass arguably make up one of the most exciting feature rhythm sections on the East Coast of the United States. Sought after as a rhythm section for numerous feature performers in concert, and trio concert performances in their own right, as well as studio engagements.

Some of Mr. Wilkins accomplishments include recipient of the prestigious Hank Jones Jazz Masters Award while at Berklee College of Music, Recipient of the Artist Foundation of Boston Award for composition excellence.

Mr. Wilkins has performed with Angela Bofill, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Kevin Eubanks, Najee, Walter Beasley, Archie Shepp, David "Fat Head" Newman, Yusef Lateef and other jazz greats. The Frank Wilkins Trio also provides clinics in Jazz History and Performance as well as workshops for Vocalists.
